Georgetown University Wins the Business Strategy Challenge 2005
After a day full of impressive presentations from students from four universities, the first annual Business Strategy Challenge was won by "Worldwide Strategists," a team of four Georgetown university students. The team, composed of (left to right) Sean Doran (MSB 2005), Victoria Cheng (MSB 2006), Abhyuday Prashad (MSB 2005), and Matthew Ichinose (MSB 2005), won the $400 grand prize. Coming in second place and winning $100 was "Department of Strategery," from the University of Pennsylvania.
Third and fourth places were awarded to DS3 Enterprises (George Washington University) and OLS Group (American University) respectively. |

Georgetown Students take Third at the Marshall International Case Competition
Four Georgetown students representing the McDonough School of Business at the Marshall Internationall Case Competition (MICC) placed third out of 24 international teams today.

The Spring Semester Hilltop Consultants Client Reception
At the end of every semester, Georgetown University Hilltop Consultants invites its clients to join them for a reception and celebrate the work and accomplishments of the club's volunteers.
All Hilltop members, as well as interested future project applicants and potential nonprofit clients are warmly invited to attend.
The reception is at 8pm on Thursday April 28th and is hosted at a student apartment near campus.

Spring Semester Projects Announced
Hilltop Consultants is proud to announce that its nonprofit consulting projects for the spring 2005 semester will bejefit two successful and established local organizations, DC Scores and the Solar Electric Light Fund. The general membership meeting (open to ALL students) to launch the projects and application process will be held Tuesday January 25th at 9:00pm in WGR 208. Applications are now available for download and due on Saturday January 29th at midnight to Kat Palmieri. |

SELF Project Team Presents to Client
The Hilltop Consultants project team working on behalf of the Solar Electric Light Fund presented their group's findings and recommendations to Robert Freling, SELF's Executive Director, today.
Their analysis focused on individual-donor fundraising strategy, including the development of a financial model to help predict the impact of implementing such a program. |

Elections will be held for the following year-long positions: President, Director of Consulting, and Director of Case Competitions.
