Client Spotlight: Goodwill of Greater Washington
Since 1935, Goodwill of Greater Washington has helped thousands of individuals learn skills and find employment in the DC metropolitan community. The organization's mission is "to educate, train, employ and place people with disadvantages and disabilities, creating a stronger workforce and a more vital community while building dignity for the people we serve through the removal of barriers to personal success."
Currently, Goodwill serves over 3,000 individuals each year through employment opportunities at their retail stores and custodial contract sites, as well as through workforce development programming to build stability and economic success for members of the greater Washington community.
Hilltop Consultants analyzed the potential for increased funding from local and state governments and presented an easily executable plan of action for future expansion. Through these efforts, Hilltop provided funding strategies that will increase Goodwill's influence and training output.
