Client Spotlight: March of Dimes

March of Dimes is an organization dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. With the help of national partners like the Kiwanis family, America's Promise and Future Business Leaders of America, March of Dimes has a yearly fundraising event, the March for Babies, which is put on by volunteers in communities across the country. The money brought in by this event goes towards the organization's four focus areas: research, advocacy, care and education.

Despite March of Dime's strong presence in high schools, they have struggled to retain these students as volunteers once they have moved on to universities. One of the largest factors contributing to this problem is the lack of MOD's presence and involvement on university campuses and with college student organizations. Hilltop Consultants is working with March of Dimes to improve their retention rates as students move on from high school to university campuses, in part through strengthening and forming partnerships with organizations that can engage the university student population.
